This is how Insel Radio has told the manufacturing process of our fabrics, in a report that has been made and posted on youtube.

A few days ago we were visited by the guys from INSELRADIO MALLORCA, the German station that broadcasts on the island and they made us a nice report showing how a day of work is in our workshop. We tell they about the manufacturing process of the fabrics and the different products we make with them. From the most artisan acessories, such as handbags, purses, espadrilles, as everything you need to dress and decorate the house.

The German magazine PRESTIGE DARMSTADT in the spring issue of 2018 has made an extensive report, in which it explains to its readers, the trajectory of Teixits Vicens and the craftsmanship that we develop. Last March 15 we had a very special visit. The girls and boys of 1st grade of the school Costa i Llobera of Pollença came to our workshop to discover the secrets of how a fabric is made. During the tour they were snooping to know everything. They were exploring all the steps that are followed to manufacture the fabric. At the end of the visit, a surprise awaited them: They played to be a craftsmen with an old loom. This experience inspired them to take their most creative side and realize their great work: a “collage” with the scraps fabrics of Teixits Vicens.

Many thanks to the teachers who thought of us to carry out such a fun and educational activity.

The director wore a black suit with an Ikat fabric bow tie from TEIXITS VICENS.

The director Jaume Carrió and the scriptwriter Laura Gost picked up the Goya prize for the best animated short film, in the 32nd edition of these awards.

Woody & Woody, is a tribute to the filmography of Woody Allen. The short film is based on a work of micro theater, by screenwriter Laura Gost. A dialogue between the famous director of thirty years and himself with eighty years is the plot of the work.
