PRESENTED AT THE PRESTIGIOUS LONDON DESIGN FAIR, ITS CRAFTS CREATIONS.
From September 21 to 24, the LONDON DESIGNE FAIR, brings together 500 exhibitors from different countries, including TEIXITS VICENS. The fair has reserved an exclusive space for handicrafts “Made In Mallorca”. Together with other artisan companies: Atlas, Feyna, Huguet i Menestralia, TEIXITS VICENS shares a stand and presents its fabrics made with the Ikat technique.

Hasina Syed, member of Fundación Vicente Ferrer (FVF / RDT) in India, visited us last Tuesday in order to pick up the fabrics that FVF is going to use to make mallorquin dolls, a common product.
This act shows the beginning of collaboration between FVF and Teixits Vicens, making a fussionating local handcrafts and fair trade products.
With this project, Teixits Vicens is supporting the equality of conditions, rights and opportunities of handicaped women from South India.

Piluca Hueso, traveller soul and sophisticated, created her own virtual street, www.ruevintage74.com . From there, she offers real unique pieces wich keep the essence of many generations or handmade contemporary objects such as headboards.
The artisan fabrics from Teixits Vicens are an excellent material to create timeless and heartfelt pieces. Unique pieces, in fact, since each meter of fabric is completely different to the next one thanks to the technique that is used to make them.
We were very surprised when we realized that Rue Vintage 74 had chosen our ikat fabrics to develop a small headboard collection.

More than 300 people met last Monday at Es Molí D´es Comte to celebrate the 37th edition of ” Premis Populars 2016″ from Cadena Cope.
The awarded were Marcus Cooper, sportsman, Teixits Vicens, traditional business, actor Toni Gomila, la Associació Balear d’Apicultors and la Schola Lullistica.
